• What is the Free plan?

    The free plan allows you to record your incomes and expenses, view your estimated tax and raise invoice. You only pay if you want to use our service to file your tax return with HMRC or annual accounts with Companies House. However, there is no obligation to use our premium service.



  • Can you deal with HMRC about my tax affairs?

    If you sign up to one of our professional or business plan, we will register to become your tax agent. We will deal with HMRC on all of your correspondences and tax affairs.



  • How do I pay?

    You pay a monthly subscription and you can cancel at any time. We accept all major credit and debit cards as payment.



  • Can I pay upfront?

    You certainly can! Our yearly plan gives you 12 months for the price of 10 – you can choose this option when you subscribe.



  • Am I locked into a contract?

    No, you can easily cancel your account from within Basetax and you can download your data at any time.



  • Are there any set-up fees?

    No, there are no set-up fees of any kind.
